Studying with sophistical stimulus
Living in both self-quarantine and learning from home resulted from the advent of Covid-19 pandemic can be deemed as tough duration for studying. Education keeps going to provide the knowledge to the scholars but attention diminishes in a sense of exhausting when you may need to stare the screen for a long time. Likewise, studying in a room for so long lead to lying in bed and taking a nap during the education on going as well. However, there are advantages of learning from home, for instance, you can eat or drink and whatever you want contributing to learning from home is comfy and flexibly.

During work from home situation, mostly students must studying at their home via video conference application; Microsoft team and Zoom. It is obviously seen that our faculty, Bachelor of journalism and mass communication, is included. We have many courses from the versatile lecturers that allow the student to join and learn via online classroom while we no longer to take sit-in classroom at the University.
To mention about a course from the several BJM subjects that is Article Writing. As aforementioned as title, the title named can represent being this subject and its outstanding point than other courses. First and foremost, this course requires all student open their camera since joining a classroom and shuffle asking each one for discussing.
I’m totally claim that I fell surprisingly when joined this course because there are new tasks and assignments which are interesting, looking to the first session, a lecturer gave we introduce ourself by recording video via the application, Flipgrid, I’m quietly say that I never known this application before but when I glance at it, this application is more remarkable because its functions and features. For example, aboard range of filters and stickers that can adds while you recording and you can posts rapidly after done recorded.
In addition, there is shuffle separating group of the student to conduct a group work, it can be deemed as a chance that all students have to work with others in this course who never worked together and how to perform well with a new team. Moreover, all members in each teams can evaluate another contributing to every member entirely attend in group work and encourage each other. From my point of view, conducting a group work in this course is a long project that allowing the student to gather the information by themselves and arrange it to bringing about the webinar at the end. Amidst gathering the information with surveying, researching, and interviewing is better and improve journalism skill of BJM student. For me, I have role to writing a article part with another two friends, I had seen other’s writing style and brought it to compare with my writing style.
To recapitulate, this course can improve our speaking, writing, reading, and listening skill because for this subject has these practices and enable the student to engage with a lecturer. Furthermore, I have seen my weak point when doing a group work and I will improve in the next time work.
